Meeting started at 6:00 p.m.

Treasurer reported balance in account is $2,650.

Speakers

David Butz of Eco-Nuclear Solutions spoke about nuclear power.

Alex Bausch, a Massachusetts Democratic Party organizer, spoke about political organizing for the upcoming presidential election. He noted the most effective political advocacy is door-to-door canvassing and there is an urgent need for volunteers to canvass in New Hampshire and Maine.

New Business

A motion passed to endorse Question 1 on the ballot in November that would authorize the state auditor to audit the legislature.

On August 25, Debbie Everett is holding a meet and greet for Rep. Manny Cruz and Sen. Joan Lovely. It will be held at the community room of her condo at 65 Washington Street.

Next meeting is September 9.
