We are Salemites with a commitment to Democratic values and ensuring the election of progressive Democrats to public office!
We engage with our community, supporting candidates and initiatives through canvassing and phone banking efforts, as well as hosting elected officials and those running for office at our monthly meetings for meet-n-greets, forums and debates.
GET INVOLVED
MONTHLY MEETINGS
Our monthly meetings provide our members and the public a chance to get to know one another, organize, debate policy and platform, and hear from our elected officials. Meetings typically occur on the third Tuesday of every month.
Most meetings include at least one guest speaker ranging from grassroots activists to elected politicians and candidates for office. We offer recordings of our Guest Speaker Series on our website for public benefit.
GRASSROOTS ORGANIZING
We give our members opportunities for all types of organizing: postcard writing, phone banks, canvassing, caucusing, candidate debates and forums, and many other events to engage in. We frequently work with other local activist groups and organizers, giving our members the opportunity to connect and follow their passions.
