The meeting opened with a welcome from the Chair Liz Bradt and recognition of elected 0fficials present at the meeting.

• The Treasurers report included costs of running the caucus

Introduction of our guest speaker:

Essex County Sheriff Kevin F Coppinger.

Sheriff Coppinger gave a presentation about the Essex County Sheriff Department and Jail. He highlighted the programs that have been implemented to decrease recidivism including treatment, training and support programs. He touted the successes there have been in many areas and the continued expansion and revision of programs.

There was a brief discussion of the relationship between the Sheriff’s Dept and I.C.E.

Chair introduced a petition from Our Revolution Mass. Asked that we vote to endorse

Elections for City Wide and Ward Officers were held.

City Committee Chair Liz Bradt was nominated by Tyler Kelly seconded by Lydia King. No other nominations came from the floor. Liz was elected by acclamation.
