Meeting opens with introductions.Â
Ward chairs are introduced to newcomers.Â
Triss Ingels the Education Director of the North Shore LGBTQ Network read a statement commemorating Transgender Day of Remembrance.Â
Mike Cleary of the Salem Dems read a statement in regard to the current federal executive administration and supporting House Reps and Senators.Â
Last meeting minutes were quickly voted into the record to expedite meeting time.Â
Forum with Massachusetts 6th District open seat race candidates, Beth Andres-Beck, Jamie Belsite , John Beccia, and Dan Koh. Due to another meeting in a nearby town being cancelled that was scheduled for the same time with Massachusetts 6th district candidates, Senate candidate Alex Rikleen attended the meeting and joined in the forum.Â
Two minutes were given to each candidate for introductions and one minute give to each candidate for answering questions after introductions asked to the forum panel as a whole.Â
Questions (roughly written):
How do you anticipate increasing voter turnout of immigrant, minority, and youth demographics that are normally not focused on in electoral campaigns?
How do you expect or what can you do to put a check on the Supreme Court? Would you support explaining the Supreme Court?Â
Where do your politics lean towards more? A more progressive type like House Rep AOC or a not so progressive Senator Chuck Schumer.Â

Announcements: Today November 20’th is Trans Remembrance Day. At 7-9 PM st the
PEM there will be a vigil. We will end early to join them.
January 27’th 6 PM at CLC Learn about the New High School project
with Mayor Pangallo Superintendent Dr Zrike Nate Bryant and Rick Jones ( building
committee co-chair) and maybe Nate Bryant
